Remembrance 2018

This year marks 100 years since the ending of the First World War. This morning, pupils, staff and families took time to stop and reflect upon the sacrifice made by so many in the service of their country. Class 4 led the school service and highlighted through their readings the horror of war and how at eleven o’clock on the 11th November 1918, the guns finally fell silent. Thank you to everyone who attended, Mrs Beach for creating the most amazing backdrop and to pupils in Year 5 and 6 who have given up their time, before and after school, to sell poppies on behalf of the Royal British Legion.
