Quince Honey Farm Visit

On Tuesday Class One went on a visit to Quince Honey Farm. We had a lovely time. Our host, Marie, was impressed with all the information we already knew and she commented that we asked some really interesting questions.

We all got to hold a wooden frame of bees and were able to watch how they behaved in the hive. We also got to dress up as bees and practice collecting nectar from flowers.

We tasted lots of types of honey and made a candle from beeswax. We also looked at all the bee friendly plants and planted some seeds to bring home. We had the most amazing day!
