Exmoor Challenge 2018

The early morning fog lifted quickly and revealed a glorious day on Exmoor for our 3rd practice walk for this years Exmoor Challenge; we were all relieved that it wasn’t raining.  Lucombe to Dunkery was our route today, which involved several steep climbs and covered a distance of 14 miles.  Everyone supported one another and we all got around following the maps and route cards.  The view from the top of Dunkery was lovely, as was the various colours of the moorland on our return towards Luccombe.  Well done to all those who took part and for the effort you all showed to complete our most challenging practice walk.
